Observa | Documentaries from Ibero-America

Observa: Documentaries from Ibero-America is a yearly documentary series organized by the Heidelberg Center for Ibero-American Studies (HCIAS) at Heidelberg University, Germany in cooperation with Karlstorkino. Beginning in the winter semester 23-24, the series has created a space to showcase films from Ibero-American creators engaging with the social, cultural, and environmental realities of the region. In addition to screening the documentaries, each event also features a discussion between HCIAS scholars, the filmakers, and the audience.
